About Austere

Austere Technology is a software delivery firm. We take projects from problem statement to production and stay accountable for the result — not for a headcount.

Our work spans two sides of enterprise digital delivery that usually sit in separate departments, and separate vendors. One is built on Adobe Experience Manager: leading implementations and Edge Delivery Services migrations for large content operations, and owning the architecture, performance, and governance decisions that determine whether a platform is still working three years later. The other is built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform: solution architecture for CRM, case management, and citizen-facing service systems, including public-sector and municipal government clients.

Underneath both is a long history of full-stack web development — which is why we don't reach for a platform when a well-built application will do, and why our platform work doesn't stop at configuration.

We work with enterprises modernizing systems that have grown past what they were built for, and with startups building their first product. The approach is the same either way: understand the real problem first, then build the smallest thing that solves it well.

What that means in practice

Accountable for delivery. We scope the work, commit to it, and ship it. One team from discovery through launch, with nothing handed off midway.
Direct communication. No account managers, no relay chains, no translation layer between your problem and the architecture that solves it.
Right-sized solutions. We match the tool to the problem instead of reaching for the trendiest framework — or the heaviest platform.
Built to last. Clean, maintainable code and documented decisions. Another team could pick up our work without a rewrite, and we build assuming someone eventually will.
